Airport Wi-Fi can help, but do not rely on it for the whole day. If you need constant data, organize a SIM or eSIM early.

Getting cash

Cards are useful in cities and hotels, but cash still matters on many islands, in tricycles, small restaurants and ferry terminals.

Leaving the airport

Ride-hailing is useful where it exists. In smaller places, transfers may be vans, taxis, hotel pickups or local transport. Ask your accommodation what is realistic before arrival.
